Hello to our CI community!

It’s a happy New Year indeed as we continue to relive the highs of CES 2024, including our exciting commitment to “Reinvent Your Future.” The biggest event in the industry marked LG’s thrilling transition from an electronics brand to a Smart Life Solution Company, spearheaded by innovations in AI (what we like to call “affectionate intelligence”).

CES wasn’t merely successful for us—it was history-making. LG won an astounding 33 awards, with 15 going to LG TVs. This also includes two of the coveted Best of Innovation Awards for LG OLED. As the leader and original creator of OLED TVs, we’re proud to be recognized for our continuous advancements.

Our home entertainment vision is embodied by the simple yet powerful phrase, “Sync to You, Open to All.” Nothing proves this idea more than the products we unveil year after year—TVs, projectors, soundbars, and more that open up a whole new world to consumers, while allowing them to have personalized and seamless experiences. As 2024 continues to unfold, may this mantra guide and inspire your installations.

Be sure to check out the CES recap below for more details about what’s on offer, and, as always, thanks for all you do to make LG a global leader.

Until next time,

CES RECAP

Another Incredible CES

Awards, Debut, and More
LG’s performance and presence at CES 2024 was nothing short of inspiring, with our products earning over 30 CES 2024 Innovation Awards. Let’s explore some of the outstanding moments and unveilings from this year’s highly anticipated CES event:
A Keynote to Remember

CES kicked off with a World Premiere which introduced the latest in LG innovation: the LG SIGNATURE OLED T. This astonishing product (winner of five awards, including Best of Innovation) boasts a 77" transparent display that seamlessly harmonizes with its environment, along with the Zero Connect Box that allows users to place their TV virtually anywhere.

Powering this picture-perfect OLED TV is the all-new α11 AI Processor, which delivers a 70% improvement in graphics performance and 30% faster processing speeds compared to its predecessor. Along with announcing these revolutionary technologies, the Premiere also celebrated the 10th anniversary of LG’s webOS smart TV platform, which attendees got to see first-hand in the webOS Zone Experience (but more on that later).

2024 OLEDs: G4 & M4

CES ushered in the unveiling of the 2024 OLED lineup, including the LG OLED G4 and LG SIGNATURE OLED M4—now available in a versatile 65" screen size. Both OLEDs harness the α11 AI Processor for a more clear and vibrant viewing experience with AI upscaling. Plus, entertainment becomes more dynamic with AI Sound Pro, offering richer and fuller audio while leveraging the built-in speakers’ virtual 11.1.2 surround sound.

The G4 and M4 models solidify LG’s reputation for delivering the ultimate gaming TVs. An impressive 4K 144Hz refresh rate pairs perfectly with features like Game Optimizer, while support for NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync removes immersion-breaking tearing and stuttering. And with the Zero Connect Box eliminating cables, the G4 and M4 offer cleaner and distraction-free viewing and gaming.

2024 QNED and QNED Mini LED TVs

LG’s 2024 QNED and QNED Mini LED TVs also made big waves at CES. These TVs are smarter than ever, with the α8 AI Processor delivering a 1.3-fold increase in AI performance, a 2.3-fold enhancement in graphic performance, and 1.6 faster processing speeds since the predecessor. With LG’s Quantum Dot and NanoCell color technologies, the 2024 QNEDs offer consumers crisp and vivid picture quality for hyper-realistic viewing. Plus, with a broad range of screen sizes ranging from 43" to the ultra-large 98", this lineup caters to diverse customer needs and preferences.

New webOS upgrade + webOS Zone Experience

In honor of webOS’ 10th anniversary, LG announced the webOS Re:New program,* offering an upgrade to the latest version of the webOS smart TV platform to owners of older LG smart TVs—including the 2022 OLED lineup, LG OLED Flex, LG OLED Objet Collection Posé, and LG’s 2022 QNED Mini LED 8K (QNED99/95 series). This generous offer will give more LG customers the most up-to-date user experience for the next five years, including a highly customizable UI that allows viewers to personalize their content and services—and access them with even greater ease.

CES was the perfect time to demonstrate the power of one of the most widely used smart TV platforms with the webOS Zone. The installation walked guests through a wide range of new content from our webOS partners. These engrossing and genre-spanning clips stunned attendees on LG OLED displays, demonstrating unrivaled picture quality and unique form factors.

More WOW-Worthy Products: Soundbars, Gaming Monitors & 4K Projector

The unveilings continued at CES with LG’s 2024 soundbar lineup, including the premium S95TR, the OLED-preferred SG10TY, and the S70TY—ideal for LG QNED TVs. These models deliver the superior, three-dimensional quality of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. But the benefits don’t stop there: WOWCAST is built right into the S95TR and SG10TY models, enabling impeccable wireless home entertainment experiences with no visible cables between the screen and the soundbar. Plus, the S95TR and S70TY models feature the center up-firing speaker, empowering viewers to enjoy sharpened voice clarity, while its angled design ensures harmonious audio and visuals in alignment with the TV screen’s level.
